10 November: Family Fun Day
The Friends of Paxton Pits Nature Reserve organises activities and events to help raise awareness of the Reserve. After a period of no events due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are now slowly reintroducing a series of informal guided walks aimed at young families. Events are free and open to all unless otherwise stated.

Santa's Grotto, Hinchingbrooke Country Park |
Come and join us for our Santa's grotto, this is a truly unique experience where the outside is created in. We pride ourselves on providing a individual unique experience for every child that comes through the door. Due to covid we are now operating a one family at a time procedure. Because of this we are asking that you arrive at your time and not before, due to not being able to queue . The cafe will be open during grotto times. When you arrive you will be greeted by our cheeky elves who will take your name and book you in to meet Santa. You will then be asked to make your way on your journey through our willow weaved tunnels. With a few surprise guests on the way, your journey promises to be festive and fun! Once you get to Santa and Mrs Claus you will be given a gift. All our gifts are supplied by Barnardos Children charity so all the money raised from the gifts goes back to the charity.
