Countryside Centre

Welcome to the Countryside Centre. We have a large room measuring 19.5m x 7.5m available to hire on weekdays and weekends. We accommodate a variety of groups from corporate meetings to social gatherings and there are private toilets for use by users, access to a sink and fridge and basic storage area.

We have seventeen rectangular tables and lots of chairs which can be used. Capacity is now a maximum of 35 under social distancing guidelines. It’s also fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Fees to hire the building:

  • Up to four hours: £145
  • Up to eight hours: £220

Equipment hire is free of charge.

Refreshments

We are unable to provide refreshments at this time. This will be reviewed on an ongoing basis in line with government advice.

Payment method

We usually invoice you after the event has taken place. If you prefer to pay beforehand or on the day, please let us know.

Car parking

There is very limited car parking adjacent to the Countryside Centre solely for use by facilitators and disabled drivers. Please ask all other drivers to use our large main car park, although on-site staff cannot guarantee there will be sufficient space for all attendees.

Please note: for users of the countryside centre, all parking at Hinchingbrooke Country Park is now pay and display.

All delegates will need to purchase a ticket from the pay and display machines in the main car park.

Fees are £2 for up to six hours and payment can be made either by cash or via the Phone & Pay App using code 2733.

For further information, please email parkingservices@huntingdonshire.gov.uk. For events likely to exceed this period, attendees will also need to clearly display the 'Car Park Extension Ticket' in their windscreen alongside the £2 ticket to avoid possible fines.

Please email hinchingbrookecountrypark@huntingdonshire.gov.uk first to check availability of the date you had in mind. Once we agree on a date, please complete the booking form (below) and return it to us and we will process and confirm it for you.
