Licence summary
All individuals and premises offering skin-piercing treatments, tattooing, acupuncture, derma rolling, skin needling and electrolysis must register with us. We will issue you with a registration certificate once we have processed your application.
Are there any restrictions?
There are no legal restrictions on registrations but you need to comply with laws regarding the cleanliness, hygiene and safety of premises, procedures, equipment and operators.
How do I apply?
Complete and submit the application form [PDF, 0.1MB] and pay the fee online. You will need to provide copies of your qualification certificates and a copy of your Public Liability Insurance certificate.
Apply for a Licence OnlineThe council is under a duty to protect the public funds it administers, and to this end may use the information you have provided on the application form for the prevention and detection of fraud. Does tacit consent apply?
