Vehicle licensing
Adams Autos are open as normal. All vehicles are required to obtain a Certificate of Compliance as part of the application process.
Drive advice
The government has acknowledged that taxis and private hire play an important role, particularly in transporting key workers and there are currently no restrictions on those providing services. However it is important to follow guidance and reduce the risk of infection wherever possible. This can be done by asking passengers not to sit in the front, and regularly disinfecting the handles inside and out, along with any surfaces people are likely to touch.
Driver renewals
We will still be accepting renewal applications [PDF, size unavailable] but will be moving to an amended process by asking drivers to email documents.
All drivers affected will be contacted directly. However, it is still important to submit applications [PDF, size unavailable] before the expiry date of the licence.
