Huntingdonshire District Council has welcomed three new refuse vehicles to its fleet, and in appreciation to the residents of Huntingdonshire over the past few months, we would like to open it up to our residents to name one of these vehicles.
Residents can submit their suggestions for a name from 3 August until 16 August. Email your proposed name along with an explanation of why you think your name is a suitable choice to wasteminimisation@huntingdonshire.gov.uk.
Once shortlisted, residents will have an opportunity to select their preferred choice. The winner will then be invited along to a naming ceremony on Friday 18 September
Cllr Marge Beuttell, Executive Councillor for Operations and Environment said, "The past few months have been testing times for everyone but the support our residents have shown our collection crews has been amazing. We want to give something back to you and dedicate one of our new vehicles to the people of Huntingdonshire. We look forward to hearing your suggestions."
