Hinchingbrooke Country Park has launched 'Flix and Picnics' – a first for the park – where people can enjoy a socially distanced picnic whilst enjoying a film out in the open.
Customers can book a standard or premium 'box' accommodating a maximum of six people who are in the same social bubble to safely enjoy a film outdoors.
Family and friends can choose from a range of films across the month including:
- Secret Life of Pets 2 (Saturday 18 July 4pm - 6pm)
- Rocketman (Saturday 18 July 7pm - 9.15pm)
- Grease (Saturday 25 July 7pm - 9.15pm)
Executive Councillor for Operations and Environment Marge Beuttell said: "We are hugely excited to announce an open-air cinema for Hinchingbrooke Country Park and by securing box office hits we hope all ages can enjoy the experience. The team are fantastically imaginative in thinking of new ways to for people to enjoy our green spaces."
Flix and Picnics offers the chance to purchase a 4m x 2m marked square for each film suitable for up to 6 people from their bubbles or households with a 5m access gangway. There are also a limited number of Premium boxes available.
