The Market Towns Programme continues to explore future external funding opportunities including the submission of an Expression of Interest to the Cambridge & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) on the 29 April 2022 for Local Growth Funding (LGF). This funding is to deliver a produce and market hub and public realm improvements at the Great Whyte, Ramsey. The District Council was invited to produce a full bid for Local Growth Funding which was submitted on 27 May 2022. A decision is expected by the (CPCA) in September 2022.
Furthermore, there is the opportunity to explore the use of UK Shared Prosperity Funding (UKSPF) to aid the delivery of the MTP with community and place being one of three UKSPF investment priorities.
