The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out how and when the council, as the Local Planning Authority, will seek to engage with local communities regarding planning matters. It has been temporarily updated to address changes required in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent government guidance.
The statement replaces our previous Statement of Community Involvement, adopted in 2012. The Statement of Community Involvement 2020 Update will remain the most up to date SCI until government guidance suggests otherwise or a revised SCI is produced as part of the development of the council’s next Local Plan.
