Coronavirus/COVID-19 - Response to Car Parking Permits

If you wish to freeze your parking permit during this time then you can do so completing the online form. Once parking charges have been reinstated, frozen permits will be reactivated and an extension added to the end for the time accrued.

Please keep hold of your current permit.

We appreciate all your support during this time.

As parking charges have currently been suspended in all of our car parks, we are not accepting any new permit applications until such a time as charges are re-instated.

Am I eligible for a resident season ticket?

You can apply for a resident on-street parking permit or Huntingdon Town Resident Season Ticket if you live within the red-shaded area of the map below:

To qualify for a resident season ticket your home must:

  • have been built before 31 March 1998
  • not have had any vehicle parking facility in the past
  • adjoin a road that has on-street parking restrictions.

Please note:

  • a permit does not guarantee a parking space
  • only one resident season ticket is available per eligible household.

If you are a resident of St Ives and St Neots, please apply for a Huntingdonshire District Season Ticket as this will allow you to park in a greater number of car parks.
